Canadian heavy and alternative bands have never had the backing and credit they deserve. One that comes to mind the most is a heavy industrial band called M.D.M. I met the singer Nux back when he and I were in audio engineering school together. He let me here one of the M.D.M unmixed demo's and it blew my mind.

Nux is a book of knowledge when it comes to digital instruments and recording. M.D.M. (Modern Digital Militia) is heavy, to the point and one of the best tech bands I've ever heard. Based out of St.Catharines in the 90s they started as a two man project and now is a 5 man unit. They write about war,greed,corruption and many other subjects shit bands don't have the balls to write about. If you like bands like KMFDM and Ministry I know you'll get into MDM.

As far as I am concerned MDM is the best of all the industrial bands put together. So do yourself a favour and look up www.mdmisgovernment.com and see for yourself.
